Well Aware is bringing critically needed clean water to Hurricane Harvey affected areas
Dear Friends and Supporters,
As the catastrophic nature of Hurricane Harvey unfolded, our team was contacted by our partners at Toyota to ask if we would help. In response, we teamed up with DayOne Response and have organized a relief effort to assist the governor's office and first responders in their distribution of clean water and treatment of the contaminated water in Houston and beyond.
Toyota has called upon our technical team of hydrogeologist and engineers to deliver 3,000 water filtration bags to Southeast Texas. While there, our team will perform water quality analysis, train officials and citizens, and assess what we can do to further support the victims of Harvey.
In addition, we will continue to accept donations for portable, potable water delivery, in partnership with our friends at CAN'd AID, and you can learn more and donate to this campaign here. To date, you have helped us send more than 5,000 cans of clean water to Harvey affected areas.
Should you choose to support other areas of need for Harvey victims, the Greater Houston Community Foundation Hurricane Harvey Fund has conducted true needs assessments and will use your donation wisely.
We are humbled to be a part of helping our neighbors here in Texas, and we are deeply grateful for Toyota and all of our supporters. We're proud to be able to bring our water expertise to those in need at home.
Please stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks on the work we're doing, and thank you again for your continued support.
