Meredith Delk is a Government Affairs executive with more than 20 years of experience working in leadership positions for large corporations and in public policy development. She started her career as a social worker, with a Masters Degree in Social work doing advocacy work and clinical practice for a non-profit in Washington, D.C. After earning a PhD, she decided to pursue a career in politics, working for an elected official on health and human services issues, and then as a chief of staff. Meredith then went on to lobby in Texas, and has spent most of the last 10 years leading national teams of lobbyists across the 50 states and in Washington. Her work is devoted primarily to healthcare issues and, more specifically, advocating for sound public policy focused on ensuring that every American, especially those living in poverty, has access to quality healthcare.
She lives in Austin, Texas and is a mom to Stratton, a sassy 2 year old. Meredith loves to travel, and her travels in Africa fueled her interest in Well Aware and its mission.
