Well Aware Welcomes New Projects Coordinator

Welcome to the Well Aware family, Kaela Champlin!

Kaela has a dual masters degree in international arid and semi-arid land studies from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and Texas Tech University, where she conducted research on examining the role of community based water management programs for rural livelihoods in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental conservation from Texas Tech University and experience working in environmental law and research as a legal assistant and coordinating community garden projects in Austin. Kaela is passionate about working with local communities to address the challenges of water availability and quality.
