Maai Mahiu is located in the Naivasha District of Kenya where access to water is a great challenge. The community struggles with poverty and disease due to the lack of clean water; however, Comfort the Children International is in the process of making a large positive impact and lasting change there. With a clean water source, they will be able to expand their operations and continue to heal, educate, and employ more people in Maai Mahiu.
