Njoguini Primary School, Kenya
Njoguini Primary School is located within the Ol Pejeta Conservatory and serves nearly 300 students. Currently, the majority of Njoguini’s water source comes from rainwater, which is erratic and unreliable. The school has been on the brink of closure due to severe water shortages.
In 2019, in partnership with Richard's Rainwater and The Nobelity Project, Well Aware implemented a sustainable clean water system in Njoguini, by restoring a nearby incomplete and abandoned borehole. This new system will affect immeasurable impact and will ensure 300 students can continue receiving the education they deserve.
