Njoguini School, Ol Pejeta, Kenya
Njoguini is a community located within the Ol Pejeta Conservatory in Laikipia County, Kenya.
Currently, the majority of Njoguini’s water source comes from rainwater, which is erratic and unreliable.
The primary school, serving 300 kids, has been on the brink of closure due to severe water shortages.
In 2019, in partnership with Richard's Rainwater and The Nobelity Project, Well Aware will implement a sustainable clean water system in Njoguini, by restoring a nearby incomplete and abandoned borehole.
This new system will affect an immeasurable impact for the community and will ensure 300 kids can continue receiving the education they deserve.
