Early in 2018, John traveled to Kenya with Well Aware for the first time to document the impact of the company’s donations. He has since led Spectrum Brands employees to raise and donate nearly $200,000, returned to East Africa in November 2019 to further monitor the progress and impact, and continues to set lofty goals for the partnership’s success.
