Meet Faith from Katumani, Kenya! 😊
Faith is a 12-year-old student at Katumani Primary School and loves learning mathematics. She hopes to one day be an accountant and learn more about currencies.
With the rainwater collection system implemented at her school, there is no need for her to walk long distances in search of water anymore. She is also happy that the food is grown with clean water and she has better health.

When clean water is not available, women and girls have the responsibility of fetching water in 80% of households.
This is a time-consuming and physically demanding task. Long journeys by foot, often more than once a day, causes many to drop out of school, continuing the cycle of poverty.

Meet Nzikoa from Tututha, Kenya! 👋
Nzikoa is an 11-year-old student at Tututha Primary School who dreams of becoming a doctor so he can treat people who don’t feel well. 💙 He enjoys going to school to learn from his awesome teachers about his favorite subject, math. 📚With a rainwater catchment system at school, Nzikoa is no longer worried about drinking dirty water from the river. 🙌
