Meet 15-year-old Emmanuel from the community of Atot, Kenya. With the new well drilled there in September 2022, Emmanuel will no longer have to fetch water from the river three times a day. This will give him more time to focus on becoming a “doctor, to treat people in the community.”
Because there has been a lack of development in the community without clean water, there are currently no toilets and no hand-washing facilities. But now, with clean water, the community will be able to build more sanitation facilities. Emmanuel will have access to better hygiene and can thoroughly enjoy attending school!
