Joseph

Joseph has lived in Atot his whole life and works loading and unloading trucks. He loves his neighbors in Atot and the fact that the community lives in harmony. According to Joseph, the biggest threats in Atot are drought and hunger. Because there is no sewage system, human waste flows into the same river they used to drink from. They used ash as filtration for the water, however, community members still got sick often.

With the new water system, he is hopeful that there will be enough for drinking and handwashing so that diseases are eliminated and his community members are healthy.
